THE HUMAN DESIGN
The LIFE*MOD Philosophy is clearly based on the principle of the Human Design. The founder of LIFE*MOD® has coined the following four pillars of the Human Design:
• Human Design ~ Movement:
Under this pillar, LIFE*MOD believes that the human body was designed in a way to allow for optimal movement and posture. However, we no longer ascribe to this pillar. We have become a society that doesn't move much anymore, foregoing physical activity for watching tv or playing PS3 and sitting most of our work days in front of a computer screen. All of these activities are detrimental not only to our health but to our wellness. At LIFE*MOD, we will teach you how to get in touch with this very basic but crucial Human Design.
• Human Design ~ Fitness:
Under this pillar, LIFE*MOD believes that the human body was designed in a way to allow for regular fitness. This is different than Human Design Movement in that our Fitness isn't about merely moving, but about moving with intention and increasing overall body fitness. This is what we do when we 'train' for something. This is what we do when we lift weights or run a 10K. Our Human Design is such that we should all be 'fit', but because we no longer move, we have become static and consequently, full of disability and disease.
• Human Design ~ Nutrition:
Under this pillar, LIFE*MOD believes that the human body was designed to eat a variety of foods. These foods are supposed to be fresh, local, grown and 'pure'. Unfortunately, this is where we as humans have completely deviated from this design. We have lost the ability to eat with purpose and intention. We no longer 'care' where our food comes from. Fast food that is full of grease and fat is cheap and tasty. We have lost the ability to raise our food and watch it go from earth to our dinner table. LIFE*MOD believes this to the the strongest of the Human Design Pillars and the most important for our longevity and health. At LIFE*MOD, we will teach you how to get foods in your body that will nourish you and give you the best chance of health & wellness.
• Human Design ~ Self:
Under this pillar, LIFE*MOD believes that the human body was designed to have an awareness of 'self'. This basically differentiated us from animals. It is important to understand this pillar because of the ability to then live with intention. If we move intentionally and work out intentionally and then eat intentionally, then the self becomes more in tune with its natural healing ability, its natural hormonal cababilities and its natural basal metabolic rate conditioning. At LIFE*MOD, we will teach you how to get more 'intentional' with your self and your daily habits to insure that you become an effective fat burning machine. With this pillar, LIFE*MOD uses your personal blood type and gastrointestinal allergy profile to design your personalized or 'self' blueprint.
